Job: For the 2024 issue of TRUE COLOURS, the customer- and employee magazine of KANSAI HELIOS, I was commissioned to carry out full-scale stylistic and content fine-tuning of roughly eighty pages of English copy.
Year of publication: 2024.

Scope & Focus
- Refined articles spanning IT security, HSE, R&D, purchasing, production, HR, communication and ESG—ensuring each piece fit the overarching „continuous improvement“ theme.
- Moderated marketing language, replacing product-centric phrasing with reader-oriented storytelling while leaving each author’s voice intact.
- Streamlined structure, headlines and cross-links so readers can navigate technical subjects effortlessly and stay engaged from story to story.
Key Challenges
- Balance: Preserve individual writing styles yet deliver a unified editorial tone that feels less promotional and more journalistic.
- Clarity: Translate specialised terminology into concise, accessible English for an international readership without sacrificing accuracy.
- Consistency at scale: Harmonise formatting, terminology, and narrative flow across 80 diverse pages under tight production deadlines.
The result is a magazine that keeps the original storytellers in the spotlight—only sharper, clearer and more compelling for every reader.
